More than 50 years ago Alessandro Piccini was just a little boy which repaired motor-scooter after school hours. He was called “the little wizard of motors” because he was a dab hand at repairing all kind of damages. As a matter of facts he got the nickname MAGONIO from his unique practical skill (Magonio in Italian sounds like little wizard). Alessandro opened his first garage when he was just eighteen years old. Later in 1959 he founded Magonio sole-leather factory together with others partners. The first workshop was located in Malmantile, hometown of two proprietors and of three others employees that used to work late in the evening after their different main work. After few months the others members choose to retire from the business but Magonio was very confident in his project and decided to carry the sole-factory forward. This is how Magonio was launched.
